Woke up this morning to snow on the roof

Can you tell from the last 2 posts I ran into a buy on birdhouses?  I love this old one, not sure how to attach it to a tree, just might leave it on my deck as a snow gauge

I was not going to post this pic, I was trying to flash the birchtree but it was too far away and the camera focused on falling snow.  Still turned out interesting

I caught Mike and Jean heading out the driveway this morning.

They were loving the snow and thought it was perfect snow like at Christmas.  They saw an eagle land on a tree in the snow and a loon call through the flakes.  They said the morning could not be more perfect unless they moved in to stay for the winter.  Sadly the town of Jainesville would not function if they did
