Any ideas on what bird this is, Troy is not sure. Some type of warbler

In other news, Birchwood was the winner of a King Bed upgrade. We managed to squeeze this King in the big bedroom along with the twin. A bit of space is missed in the bedroom but most folks I have asked are willing to give up space for a king. Birchwood is the only 2 bdr that we have found that we can squeeze a king in

The bird is a yellow finch! I am from Illinois, and we have lots of yellow finch here. They sell finch feeding socks that you fill with Niger seed. I am certain that they sell them at Wal Mart. If you hang the sock by a window, you are guaranteed to get a great show! There are also red ones. The yellow ones change color here in the winter so that they don’t attract predators in the snow. They get bright yellow in the warmer weather. I love your picuture blog! We have a summerhome on Blue Lake, so we are practically neighbors!We always drive the back roads by your resort to get back home after being in town. It is out of the way, but worth it!

Hi! It is a Yello Finch. We have them here in Il. Beautiful birds. There are also red and brown ones.

Upon further review and research, I think Dawn has it right. The mystery bird is most likely a Yellow-throated Vireo.
