We noticed a chipmunk who was coming up on the deck looking for hand outs.  We wondered how close the chipmunk would come with Poe on the deck and would old Poe actually get up and chase the chipmunk like in his older days

We set Poe up with a few peanuts in front of him

I see you, you see me, I have the peanuts but I am not moving

Approaching Poe from behind and hoping he does not notice.

Will the Poe move…..  Poe’s comment to the chipmunk is “As long as you don’t run over my nose I am not moving, I spent enough years chasing your ancestors and am frankly bored with the whole chase a rodent up a tree or in a hole”

Chipmunk’s comment “I pay homage to your superiority and me and my ancestors that you never caught say Thank You for getting them to shell out the peanuts for entertainment”

Thanks man for not eating me.  Get them to put out almonds tomorrow and I promise to look terrified of you at the beach

You run on top of me we will have an issue otherwise just grab and go
