The following pictures were all taken by Will Flower.  Will Flower was driving his ski boat ,taking pictures, taking skiers and dodging a seaplane at the same.  time.  This seaplane landed a took off about 10 times over the course of about 2 hours.  Everyone on the lake, except for Will headed for the hills to get out of the way.  I am not sure what the regulations are on landing a seaplane on inland lakes, but I think they are a little lax.  My rule:  See a plane heading across the lake skidding get the heck out of the way.  I was neat to see the plane land and take off the first 2, 3 or 4 times after that….  it became a game of dodge ball with boats vs. planes

Please keep in mind that this picture was taken from a boat who was prepared to move at a moments notice is the plane got to close.  Dave Tungett navy captain did say that boats have the right of way over planes.  I think someone forgot to tell this pilot that, and I know Will will agree.

The resort is in the foreground of the picture.  Who remembers getting seaplane rides off of our dock?  I believe it happened until about the 1980’s what we would have a plane come in for rides once a week.  Anyone remember the pilots name?
