Since Thanksgiving we have been busy decking the halls and getting the first Christmas decorations up.  Black Friday means only one thing in our family, not shopping, but tree lighting.  Troy and I spend most of Black Friday untangling lights, hunting down extension cords, splitters and more lights.  We ended up lighting up 16 outside trees this year, with eyes on a really nice 17th tree between Wildflower and Restawhile.  It is a test of marriage and patience but they are all up and neither of us fell off a ladder

Saturday brought Christmas in Minocqua.  Minocqua decks the halls for small business day with sleigh rides, chestnuts roasting on an open fire, live reindeer, Santa Claus, and the 1914 sock maker demonstration.  I spent my Saturday between The Gas Light Square and the Minocqua Museum.  It was a fun day with lots of kids coming by to help make socks and turn the crank

I do have a few stockings left if anyone needs to order them.  They are 48 each with name put on

Have fun untangling your own lights at home.  Want to save on decorating I have a few cabins left for Christmas and the Christmas week give a call.  Enjoy our trees instead of having to put one up yourself.  Best thing is the trees do not get thrown out after Christmas.  They just get taller and taller….  just ask Troy
