A bunch of lake neighbors gathered together to release 1000 walleye fingerlings into the lake.  This group raised money privately to buy the fingerlings.  I have a jar on my desk in the office that goes towards this effort if you feel like dropping a few bucks in the jar.  This is the 2nd year of the stocking.  The DNR also stocked 1000 walleyes as well earlier in the month at Hilltop

Everyone took a turn scooping them up and letting them go.  This is Linda Mastalski from across the lake

Many will recognize Burnie Lueith who owned Hilltop before Tom and Mary Ellen.  Burnie and everyone pictured above plus many other lake neighbors and guests worked together donating money and making this happen.

Thanks to all that contributed

Can’t wait to see all these little fingerlings when they grow up to be big fish
